NZULEZO is a village located near the village of Beyin, 90 kilometers west of Takoradi. NZULEZO is in the Jomoro Municipality in the Western Region of Ghana. The Ghana Tourism Authority has donated relief items to the Nzulezu Community in the Western Region on Thursday, 29th June, 2023. The items were donated through the Western Regional office on behalf of the Board. The items include 500 bags of 5kg rice, 42 boxes of cooking oil, 25 bags of (25kg) sugar, 50 boxes of bathing soap and 50 boxes of washing soap. There were earlier reports and videos this week on social media that the community has been severely affected by floods, which led to the displacement of residents and destruction of properties. The entire community numbering about 500 have been evacuated to Beyin, a neighbouring community. Through the untiring efforts of the CEO, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, and the Western Regional Director, Mr. Henry Yeleduor, the Board of Directors immediately sanctioned this laudable initiative.
