Buy your tickets at the reception centre in Beyin on the mainland. Canoe trips run from 8 am to 5 pm. But those staying in the guesthouse can have their time extended. Boat rides for foreign adults cost GH¢80.00 foreign students GH¢70.00 Ghanaian adults GH¢40 Ghanaian students GH¢30. Motorised canoe fee GH¢100.00. (For 1 to 9 people). For those who would wish to have a detailed history of the place, you are entitled to pay GH¢30 only. For your safety on the lake, you are given a lifejacket. Donations are welcome by community leaders. Tips are allowed to your tour guide after a tour. For more information please contact 0244606762.

GTA SUPPORT NZULEZO COMMUNITY WITH RELIEF ITEMS

The Ghana Tourism Authority has donated relief items to the Nzulezu Community in the Western Region on Thursday, 29th June, 2023. The items were donated through the Western Regional office on behalf of the Board.  The items include 500 bags of 5kg rice, 42 boxes of cooking oil, 25 bags of (25kg) sugar, 50 boxes of bathing soap and 50 boxes of washing soap. There were earlier reports and videos this week on social media that the community has been severely affected by floods, which led to the displacement of residents and destruction of properties. The entire community numbering about 500 have been evacuated to Beyin, a neighbouring community. Through the untiring efforts of the CEO, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, and the Western Regional Director, Mr. Henry Yeleduor, the Board of Directors immediately sanctioned this laudable initiative.
